Beat eggs in bowl. Add raisins and vanilla extract. Let soak for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350F
In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Set aside.
Using a mixer, blend the butter with both white and brown sugar until creamy.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, using a spatula to combine. The dough will become stiff.
Gently fold in the raisin and egg mixture until evenly incorporated.
Stir in the oatmeal until well combined.
Form the dough into 2-3 inch balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
